Sidewalk Lab began with a simple feeling: nostalgia.

Nostalgia for skateboarding — and for the architecture that came with it. Concrete ramps, ledges, transitions. Surfaces where everyone would leave a small mark, a drawing, a name, a joke. It belonged to all of us.

Years later you could come back and find it still there. Sometimes.

We don’t ride as much anymore. Now we have homes and kids who draw on the walls.

Sidewalk Lab grew from that memory — and from a love of good design.
